Finnish Fireworks Championships

Didn't stay through all the shows, it was raining and Yoda had already been alone at home a couple of hours prior to this. But managed to get a couple of good shots too.

Lights and shells

I placed the old and worn out shell in the flowerpot with similarly worn white rocks.

Seashells from my last trip and a bigger one from the winter. I figured the flowerpots would be a safe place for them, away from Yoda's reach. He thinks their food.

Some are safly behind the class in the small table we made for them. Even though it's raining outside, I always have a summer and the beach in my home.

Couldn't leave this Pixar lamp in the shop. I've always wanted one just like it.

The figures from my other lamps are decorating my livingroom walls.

One is placed behind a plant and throws some scary finger shadows across the wall.

These two will never be separated.

The light looks like it's coming from waves of water, but is actually hitting my keyboard. :)

These tentacles make the artwork in the walls.

Midsummer

Spent the midsummer in the middle of no where. I guess that's the point of the celebrations. :)

Some people built a huge bonfire by the lakeside.

A few people decided to drive back home the same day we did.

I think there was every single car in the country there in front of us.

Week 03

Some images aren't in the right order, sorry about that. This week a cruise themed images.

We took a cruise to Stockholm this weekend. Was too dark to take any proper pictures of the shore when the ship was taking off so took some of the ship spotlights.

There was an acrobatic show on the huge walking deck. By accident we got the best spot to see it while doing some wine shopping.

You've got to have a pretty good balance to do this.

This turned out pretty well. It's almost spooky.

Notice the man walking with one of those ghosts. It can't be a coinsidence his mate appear invisible while all the rest of the people turned out just right.

These men where just shouting all kinds of rubbish (swedish I'd assume but how do they think *anyone* in there would understand any of that) to sell their fruits. I could think of a few better jobs for myself.

There was a cabare show, as there's some France weeks. I would have expected to see more french food aswell because of it but I guess they didn't bother to go that far.

This woman was on another show earlier and did stand on a stick that was like a needle thin. Pretty good balance aswell.

I wouldn't had imained how good place my own living room can be for watching fireworks. The image ca't even start to describe how pretty it was. :) I can see half the city from here and when clock turned to midnight the sky was filled with them just everywhere! Unfortunately I could only take a little peak behind the sheets I had hung to cover the scene from my other dog who is really afraid of loud noise, especially fireworks and gunshots.

We spent the Christmas day just sitting inside, eating chocolate and playing all the new games. Once in a year there's no reason to go outside.

I tried to capture the lights effect on the three layer window. I guess this turned out quite well with the backround of city lights and all.

I hang my christmas lights as everyone else is doing. For some reason though I only have one of them and even that one only has one led in it... Well, at least it's energy efficient rather than havin a hundred lamps around the house.

Listening to the oh-so-fun christmas show and looking at the dancing of people aged 60+ at the ship fun club. The best available entertainment found out to be imagining where all the people passing us were from and what their relations with each other were, as well as what kind of people they must of been. I guess judging from those images, we are doing pretty well in life! :P
