Listening to the oh-so-fun christmas show and looking at the dancing of people aged 60+ at the ship fun club. The best available entertainment found out to be imagining where all the people passing us were from and what their relations with each other were, as well as what kind of people they must of been. I guess judging from those images, we are doing pretty well in life! :P

Leaving Helsinki. We took a cruise to Stockholm, to spend some time hiding from everyday. It was really fun once again!

The dog park near us is going to be removed and apartment houses built on it sometime in the next months or years. Depends on how long it can be postponed by complaints. I hope at least enough time for us to find another house with better availability to outdoor activities. Though this isn't as bad as I thought it would be when we moved here, I guess one just needs time to adjust and find the best places to go.

I was meant to take a picture of the new Flirt train going between Helsinki and Leppävaara, since I traveled with it to work today. I tested if it would be faster to go with that one instead of the faster train that skips most of the stations between but leaves 5 minutes later. It wasn't faster, since on the last stop that train passed us. Anyhow, my camera battery died before having change to take a single image, so this is the days art instead. Enjoy. I did.

Makin your own dinner is underestimated too much. Sure I like eating out, it's easy and usually good, but I wouldn't want to replace home made food entirely. It's actually pretty fun cooking your own recipes and not knowing exactly what you get. Every dinner is a suprise. :)

This one hangs above my computer desk an tries to aduct more room for itself sometimes by growing riht in front of the screen. That's somethin not even a plant is allowed to do.

My brother playing Tekken 3 with the old Playstation. This is one game that never gets old. Tekken 3 and 5 are pretty much the same (haven't had a chance to try the six more than a couple of games in DigiExpo) but I miss Devil Jin <3 and being able to customize their costumes. I got to get my PS2 from my parents place soon.

I actually knitted my own socks... Huge work and the outcome may not be the best there is but none the less I think they are the best socks ever. Next time (for now I think there won't be a next time) I'll make a bit smaller socks though, I think I could fit three feet in one of these.

We went to see Inglourious Basterds, which I think was a fun movie. There was a Super-day at the theatre with tickets 5,50€ to all shows and unbelievable lines to the ticket stands. I had booked our tickets in advance but we were only just in time to cash them before they would of been released back for sale an hour before the show started.

Kind of a dragon, one of the best throwing toys for the kids. Yoda likes it especially, I guess he has a thing for little green creatures.

Continuing with a dragon theme, this was another Christmas present I've received over the years. I remember my mother telling me my aunt has bought me something really childish that she don't know if I'll like or not... But I love it. :)

Pretty old houses near my school. It's a nice part of city where all the housing looks like I'd never move in one. You have to wonder how well anything works in those if they don't work even in my house that's fully repaired during past year.

My kids having some fun running on a snowy field. It was the most prettiest day, but got a bit too dark by the time I got a change to go out snapping pictures. Days are getting shorter and it's freezing cold.

It's still pretty grey out there but I guess I'm starting to get used to it. There's a lot of beautiful details to be found, all you need to do is slow down a bit and actually look around you.

A minivan sighted near Puistolas railwaystation. Or a microvan, it was so tiny, maybe 1,5 meters at height and a couple of meters tall. Was a busy day, not much time for photographing.

I'm trying to be a bit of artistic here now and also to take a green picture to keep my mind off the snowing that's going on behind the wall. I think green and blue together make up great images. Natural looking. I also love pictures of leaves, you can see the texture more precisely.

Started snowing down here aswell today. First snow. Hurray... I want to move to Argentina or some other country that doesn't have snow.

The livingroom ceiling spotlights. It's got red coating on the luminaire surface so the lamps light appears a bit red also. The luminaire features also include the ability to kill stuff with it, since it routes electricity throuh the metal parts all the time. Cool, eh?

It's been a cloudy day but I did manage to catch the full moon. Captured through a window glass with 3 layers, so there's some disturbance from it. But I think it doens't make it any worse... maybe even more interesting.

We were at Pet Expo today. There was all kinds of animals, dogs, cats, rodents, birds, even a few hedgehogs, then of course reptiles! None of those kinds of lizards that I'm going to take as my first one, but this guy is a close relative. :) We also saw some rally-obedience and I bought a pair of schnauzer shaped salt & pepper shakers.
