Yums!

I love food. And taking pictures of food, it's so pretty. This was todays meal, spaghetti with soy, mushrooms and a lot of mustard, and self made potato salad in the spirit of becoming Walburgis Night.

Easter and furbags

Beginning of grilling season on saturday.

We visited my aunts family for easter. This is their youngest dog, hungarian boy called Lauri enjoying the sunshine.

Miina is taking it easy and mostly sunbathing or hiding inside to cool off.

Camilla would like to be in the sun, but she gets really hot and has to be told to go in the shadow.

Lauri loves Yoda and Yoda loves Lauri, though his love is more of the rough side. But that's just because Yoda is his stepfather, so he has to teach Lauri to behave.

Gizmo has found a football and has to keep watch so no one else touches it.

This ball is a bit better suited for her size. (Though she doesn't know it.)

Pet Expo 17.4.2011

Really fast little lizards at the Pet Expo.

A bearded dragon. I'd love to have one of these, but I think a snake would be better suited for my life than any lizards.

A ferret enjoying a little nap.

Tarantulas are also beautiful, this one was one of the biggest I have ever seen.

Lancashire heelers are one of those breeds I've thought about maybe having one day.

In addition to Pet Expo, there was also a Model Expo that I visited. A huge number of railways of different size and landscapes. Would be fun to build one from scrap.

And of course Warhammer is present when talking about models. I guess building a game setup for these would be even more fun than the railroads.

I got a chance to picture me with my all time favorite villain, Lord Vader. :) This photo was taken by one of the stand employees with my camera.

The beginning

We took some images of flowers we found during our morning walk. Just 2-3 days ago I had yet to see any, but now they where everywhere!

There's also almost no snow left, though last weekend I had trouble walking in the woods with all the wet snow. Crocuses are usually the first ones to bloom.

These had peirced their own spots in the shallow snow.

Tiny plants, about the size of a coin, trying to get their share of the sun.

The little new leaves have good shelter below the last years remnants.

Some berries are starting to wake up in the forest aswell.

No fear of snow running out from the snow drop out place, any time soon that is. The mountain of snow can be seen from all around the forest.

Signs of summer

There's hundreds of ponds right now. The one leading down from the hill we live on top of is almost two metres wide.

Gizmo has her eyes on a squirrel. She wishes she could climb the trees to follow it.

Yoda is having hard time getting through the very wet and heavy snow.

"Hurry up!"

Some rock surface is appearing from below the snow. Almost all roads and streets are clear, but there's still plenty of snow in the forests.

Dogs are waiting impatiently for me. It's easier for them to walk in the forests now as every other of their step doesn't fall half a meter below snow surface.

Water is carving channels and making caves.
