Nail art

Magic mushrooms from Super Mario. It's good to keep a few with you as you never know when you might need one!

I was experimenting with a coctail stick as my brush. I think the outcome was quite good. With the nail polish brush it's impossible to make small detail so I've usually used one meant for painting, but they lose their hair so quickly they become an expensive way to do this. I think this will be my meathod of use next time too!

The best of my collection. I have several others too, but I rarely use them. I don't like some cause they take too long to dry and some are too thin you need like four layers for a good color. Not good, I hate waiting!

Suspicious minds

Yesterday was Runeberg's day. Even though I'm not a great friend of poetry, I like it cause it gives you a good excuse to eat Runeberg's tortes.

I took Yoda for an off-the-leash-walk in the nearby forest. Have to use this time on our advantage when Gizmo isn't here. She can't be let off leash much during winters cause she likes to hunt people who are skiing and even though she usually doesn't attack people she does bite if they are suspicious enough to move on two sticks! Yoda also found something really suspicious this time...

I mean it just stood there, whatever it was! Who gave it permission to be there, it wasn't there earlier! Yoda told it to go back to where it came from but at the end he didn't manage to convince it.

Summer is on it's way!

This time we've got some more pictures taken outside with Yoda. It's really getting more warm, so I'm also getting more and more interested in actually going for some walks with the kids. You just wear everything you've got and suddenly you don't freeze to death even if you'd spend an hour outside. (And remember not to stay still too long at a time.)

Our usual agility training tubes were filled with snow, Yoda could only fit in the two biggest ones.

We're wondering if anyone else uses the dog park, as it's pretty filled with snow. Though someone had showeled all the snow from the doors so for once we didn't have to fight with it to get it closed.

To prove my earlier post wrong we did some tests with the camera settings and I managed to get pretty good pictures while moving myself. :)

Most of the images in this set were pretty blurry though or might not include more than a top of the ear from the dog, as I wasn't using as much of my concentration on aiming as I was on trying not to step on too deep snow.

Yoda had a blast though!

At the end I was too tired to move a muscle but Yoda would have continued for another hour or two!

Some berries have survived (barely) the entire winter.

I don't like burrs cause they get stuck in the dogs fur, but they do look kind of interesting when looking up really close.

I still find it weird that some plants have their own fur or feathers.

The proof that summer is finally on it's way!! This piece of plant just made my whole day!

Yoda

I had a day off from work and school so we went out with Yoda to play a bit. Here his looking at a squirrel in the nearby tree. If Gizmo would have been with us they'd already both be under the tree barking.

Alright so I didn't get images of him playing because he didn't want to play alone so I had to run with him. Hard to take photos while running.

And here we go once inside!!! :) That's Yodas all time favorite toy.
